Due to the increasing concerns of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Deer Park Animal Hospital will be implementing extra precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our staff, clients, and patients. While we have always maintained a clean and sanitary facility, we are tripling our efforts now to do so. We will now be implementing parking lot-only service in order to reduce potential exposure to staff and clients. No clients will be allowed into the hospital. Minimal interaction will take place between our staff and clients when pets are taken in for the procedures. Necessary pre-operative consultations and discharge instructions with the doctors and technicians will be over the phone only. Before you arrive please print and fill out the Client and Surgical Consent forms located at https://www.newportnewsvet.com/new-patient-center.html
For this service, please call (757) 595-9720 and wait in your vehicle in the parking lot. We will have a staff member come out to your car and bring your pet inside while you wait in your vehicle. We will provide leashes, but we do ask that cats are in carriers. Once all services are complete, we will call you. Payments can be made over the phone by credit card. We will then bring your pet back to your vehicle. We regret these steps, but they are necessary to keep everyone safe. We hope that everyone stays well during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
